sound series The Bike wheel is covered with a tape which I had curved some characters on, so when I drive the bike the wheel will print the words on the ground. It is a invisible concept in usually, but when I pass through a small water pool it will become visible. It's like repeating a sentence again and again when people walk or drive a car or a bike. He is also writing and reading something at the same time. Here, I did this by bike and printed the mark on the floor of the gallery. It's a daily life art works, but it can be a installation in a gallery also. In fact, this work can be also done by a car, but in Tokyo, I had a bike and rode it everyday, so I used a bike in the show, and cut some words about the sound on the wheel. |
