In a funeral
Chinese people usually put the photo of the decedent in the middle
of the paper-made wreath. Here the two wreaths are put at a right
angle with the photo replaced by the television screen in the middle
and a vidicon is installed in the middle of the facing wreath .
A pre-composed video is being showed in the facing wreath. This shows
the decedent's family members with serious facial expressions. The
video is black and white and many human images appear gradually in
the side wreath; when he turns to the side wreath, he will see his
left side which is both familiar and strange.
In the screens of the small television screens around the wreaths,
recorded video images of blooms will be shown repeatedly.
