Public reporting boxes were used
by the public to disclose any wrong
doings by others to the government.
Seven such boxes contain reports
of trivial isdemeanors or wrong
doings such as envy, dirty fingernails,
indebtedness, sexual fantasies and
the like. Abusing the box rejects its
authority and reveals a ridiculous
system of surveillance. Texts placed
on the desk, including maps with
nonexistent place names and
contradictory witnesses are all used
to strengthen doubts on the system
of reporting others' behavior via the
boxes. |
