自行车，刻过字的胶皮，墨， 日本越谷
在自行车轮子上粘贴了刻有文字的胶皮，或直接刻在轮胎上，文字是翻转刻上的，这样当车子开动时就不断地在地面上到处“印”上这些文字，虽然这些文字是不可见的。所刻的内容经常是可重复的。在日本越谷我在车轮上刻了中国古代律诗的格律“平平仄仄平平仄，仄仄平平仄仄平”之类，每天驱车就等于不断把这些字印在越谷的大街小巷。经过水坑时它会留下痕迹，平时则只是一个概念性的动作。这一作品的概念一方面来自西藏的“转经”，同时也跟身体在运动状态中对节奏、循环和环境的体验有关。总是有某些句子重复地出现，萦绕纠缠在旅行中，成为人进入出神状态的一种路径；总是有一些声音贯穿在不断变化的景象中，使它们显得并不真实；而且，总要留下点什么，总是挂念着些什么……对于车轮的改造使每天的生活变得虚幻起来。
在周而复始的运行中，在步行时，在车上，我总是出神地念叨，一个词，一个句子，一首诗偈，都能形成一种节奏，帮助我度过和支持着。甚至在你静坐时，你也在随这颗星球转动，你体验着日出日落春去秋来，生活被一种韵律所沁透，渐渐地可以分辨和记忆，值得去体验。在沉默中听到这些声音，做一个动作去发出一种声音，从声音到情绪到意义，重重叠叠密密麻麻，一个人在其间，穿行，聆听，应和，又湮没在其间。
The Bike wheel is covered with a tape which I had curved some characters on,so when I drive the bike the wheel will print the words on the ground. It is a invisible concept in usually, but when I pass through a small water pool it will become visible. It's like repeating a sentence again and again when people walk or drive a car or a bike. He is also writing and reading something at the same time. Here, I did this by bike and printed the mark on the floor of the gallery. It's a daily life art works, but it can be a installation in a gallery too.

When I ride the bike the wheel will print the words on the ground. It is

it will become visible. It's like someone repeating a sentence over and over as
he walks, drives a car or rides a bike. While in motion he is writing and reading
something at the same time. Here, I used a bike to print words on
the floor of the gallery. This artwork can occur within daily life, or be an
installation in a gallery. It could be done with a car, but in Tokyo, I had a bike
and rode it everyday, so I used a bike in the show, and carved some words about
sound on the wheel.
