水牛标本、铁轨

四个水牛标本，从上面4分之一处切开。每个水牛分成两半，背部和体腹与四肢。四个水牛的下半部分放在竹席之上，从西面向东延伸。水牛背部放两根7米长的铁轨，平行。铁轨的尽头都磨成钢针。这四个水牛被切去背部，露出的剖面：将标本处理制成防水层，灌入水。在水面上密密麻麻地放满竹笛子，充当 “枕木” 。出现在铁皮地面的另一组装置中，四个水牛标本只有背部和头部，直接放在锈铁的地面上，看上去如同中国画里面经常画的水牛泡在池塘里，露出背部和头部的样子。铁轨的针尖与第一组的两根铁轨的针尖相对。

A quarter of the bodies of the four buffalo specimens are cut off from the top, while the remaining lower parts are placed on the bamboo mats, spreading from the east to the west. The ends of the rails on the backs of the buffalo are ground into needles. The backs of the four buffalo are cut off to reveal the sections. In another set of installations, there are only buffalo backs and heads placed on the rusty floor, looking as if the buffalo are in the water with their backs and heads above the water as often painted in Chinese paintings. The needle tips of the rails of the second set point to the tips of the rail needles of the first set.
