在广东美术馆进行的工作坊中，参与者讨论“独角兽”这个概念的图形化可能性。由于这样一种真实世界中并不存在原形的概念所具有的开放性，“独角兽”成为一个自由想象的领地，但同时也是不同的图像生产传统互相竞争的舞台，更是名利场逻辑发生作用的战场。参与者被要求不得和既有的任何“独角兽”形象重复，设计出自己的独角兽版本。
Unicorn Workshop, 2010
In the workshop conducted by Guangdong Museum of Art, the participants discussed the possibility of schematizing the concept of "unicorn". “Unicorn” posts a territory for free imagination due to the openness of concept created by its non-existence of original form in the real world. It is also a stage for competition among different image production traditions, as well as a battlefield where the effectiveness of logics of vanity fair start to show. Participants were asked to not repeat any "unicorn" images produced previoulsy, instead creating their own version of the unicorn.
