行为艺术政治反思实验剧场历史反思乌托邦
创作者们来到以富庶和奇观而著称的苏南华西村，开展《华西居民幸福指数调查》。师生们广泛接触了各立场和阶层的人物，并对中国乡村的发展模式、各类社会治理的乌托邦叙事模型、资本与权力的互相渗透及其象征形式、启蒙的困境⋯⋯等问题进行了讨论。调查的结果形成了《理想国：华西村》的剧本。《理想国：华西村》开始于一个喧闹的乌托邦市集，第二幕演变为一个哲人王统治之下的完美理想国。第三幕是一场审判，第四幕则是理想国的崩溃。第五幕，革命公司重新成为理想国。《理想国：华西村》并不是对某个具体地点的表态，而是对今天的世界困局的一次重新体验。
The Republic - Huaxi Village, 2011
Artists and researchers arrived in Huaxi village in southern Jiangsu province, famous for its prosperity and spectacular making, to carry out the “Happiness Index Survey of Huaxi Residents”. Teachers and students met extensively with people with different positions from various social classes and discussed issues surrounding the development model of China rural areas, various types of utopian narrative models of social governance, the mutual penetration of capital and power and its symbolic form, and the predicament of enlightenment… etc. The result of the survey constitute the script of “The Republic - Huaxi Village”. “The Republic - Huaxi Village begins at a boisterous utopian market, which turned into an ideal Republic in the second act governed by a philosopher king. The third act is a trial, the forth act is the collapse of the Republic. The revolutionary company becomes the Republic again. The Republic - Huaxi Village is not a critique on a specific place, but a renewed experience of today’s global dilemma.
