Description

Editorial note for the rebuilt archive

Hidden Sculpture was presented at Xiamen Design Week in April 2026. The work consists of six glass objects, each roughly 25 cm high and wide, with different thicknesses and curved cross-sections.

The objects are made from acrylic glass printed with special digital techniques; they can be understood as caustic glass. When rotated to a certain angle and lit, they reveal realistic forms hidden inside them.

The six glass objects are displayed on rotating bases and illuminated by spotlights. On the wall they produce light patterns that shift between abstraction and recognizable images; as they turn further, the images dissolve back into abstract light.

The hidden images include different water columns, a conch shell, and the form of a human heart. The glass is transparent, but invisible sculptures are concealed within it.
