《邱注上元灯彩计划》以中国上元灯彩传统为出发点，重新组织民间节庆、城市公共空间、图像谱系、纸雕装置和社会参与之间的关系。
项目既包含大型装置和展览版本，也包含绘画、摄影、录像、田野材料、协作者和公共活动。它像一个不断扩展的剧场，把历史循环、民俗想象、当代观看和集体制作放在一起。
当前页面作为总计划入口，后续可以继续加入时间轴、威尼斯双年展等展览版本、单件作品记录和文献资料。
Qiu's Notes on Shangyuan Lanterns begins with the Chinese tradition of Shangyuan lanterns and reorganizes the relations among folk festivals, urban public space, image lineages, paper-cut installation, and social participation.
The project includes large installations and exhibition versions as well as painting, photography, video, fieldwork materials, collaborators, and public programs. It functions like an expanding theatre in which historical cycles, folk imagination, contemporary viewing, and collective production are brought together.
