A one-thousand-time copy of Lantingxu (90-95)
Repeat writing 1,000 times on only one piece of rice paper the scripts of Lantingxu, one of the most classical texts in Chinese traditional calligraphy and video record the process of the first 50 times of copy. The first time copy of calligraphy is of Chinese characters and then the characters are turned into only visual ink, which is like an abstract painting. Copies following the first 50 times are written on the sheer dark paper with no ink left. Calligraphy turns to be calligraphy Zen. The original paper with black ink is to be exhibited and so are the pictures and videos recording the changing process.
