放在地上的电视机里的录像播放的是福建民间的提线木偶剧的片断，吊挂在上方天花板处的电视屏幕中播放的录像是一个人打哑语的手势。剧情内容及手语的语意都根据展出的空间性质相应变化。两个电视剧一个悬挂在天花板，另一个放置在地面，看上去似乎上面的电视机中的手是下面的木偶的操纵者，但其实这些手再用哑语讲述着一个遥远的故事。

The monitor placed on the floor shows clips of string puppetry performance commonly seen in Fujian’s folk art. Another monitor hung from the ceiling displays a person speaking sign language. The storyline of the puppetry and what is being expressed in sign language change depending on the spatial nature of where this work is exhibited.
