绘画纸雕进化论无常感
纸浮雕《进化》系列呈现的是典型的邱式“博物志”和“考古感”景观。整个系列从古盘古大陆到农业的发明,依照时序展开。古生物化石、山脉和器物的残片挤满画面,似乎刚刚从地层中被发掘,带着谜团等待阅读。
在纸浮雕《进化》系列的最后几幅,我们看到进化史的终结处,出现了农业的源起和《神的诞生》,以及相互绞缠的骷髅《爱人》和转化过程中的鲲鹏。如同邱志杰的所有创作,在这个系列中我们又一次看到,丰富繁密的图像和文化感之下,潜伏着尖锐的政治议题。甚至隐隐地指向了正在风口浪尖上的转基因讨论。
Paper Cast, Evolution Series
The "Evolution" series of the paper cast pieces are typical Qiu-style landscape of "Natural History" and "Archaeological sensibility”. The series expands chronically from ancient Pangaea to the invention of agriculture. The surface of the works are filled with fossils and fragments of artifacts, freshly excavated from a stratum formation, full of mysteries waiting to be read.
In the last pieces of the “Evolution" series, we see the beginning of agriculture and “the Birth of God”, the tangling skeleton "Lovers" and the transforming legendary bird of Kunpeng at end point of the evolutionary history. Like all of Qiu Zhijie’s creations, in this series we are once again confronted with acute political discussion beneath the abundant and dense diagrams and cultural sensibility, which even allude to the current discussion on genetic modification.
