时间鸿爪雪泥录像录像装置历史和考古
姚家园是北京东郊的一个村庄，1998年春天“生存痕迹”展览在这里展出。我在现场挖掘了—个考古坑，挖掘过程中所发现的各种杂物被陈列在画廊中。
三个电视机被埋在考古坑中，屏幕与地面等高。其中的录像叙述了这—水平面的变化的历史：它曾是天空有鸟在飞翔，其后积水成塘，有鱼游动，最后池塘被填平成为土地。
No.1 pit of Yaojiayuan 1998
Yaojiayuan is a small village in the eastern suburb of Beijing, where an exhibition named by traces of the existence was held in the spring of 1998. I was digging one of the pits on the spot. Everything discovered during the process of excavation displays in the gallery. Three TV sets are put into the dug pit and the screens are as high as the ground. The recorded video illustrates the horizontal change in history: it used to be sky with birds flying and then turned to be pond with fish swimming and eventually the pond was filled and leveled up to soil.
