时间鸿爪雪泥录像录像装置
一个特制的全透明的旅行包，其上还贴有机场行李安全标查时贴上的标签。旅行包内的电视机被剥去了外壳，屏幕中的录像正是行李安检时的透视图，有时叠入提包的旅客的面孔：这个包里的—切都是透明的，一目了然。
作为对比，墙角放着一个黑色的旅行包，包里的扬声器发出声音：是艺术家所收到的电话留言录音――—些生活的片断，但你无法进入。
展览于温哥华精艺轩。
Tourists video-installation 1999
A tailor-made transparent travelling bag is shown with labels of security marks from the airport attached. The shell of the television in the bag is removed and the recorded video on the screen is the scenograph during the process of security inspections. The faces of tourists with handbags are inserted: everything in the bag is transparent and clear at a glance.
To the contrary, a black travelling bag is placed on the corner with sound made by a loudhailer in it: the sound of the recorded telephone messages for the artist----some fragment of everyday life, but you can not enter it.
