艺术家本人的掌纹被放大在展厅的地面上,根据手相学在掌纹中的若干位置放置电视机,其中播放的图像包括在转动的罗盘上溜冰的人,掷骰子的手,风景中变化的人等艺术家常用的充满象征性的形象。电视和录像机都被剥去了外壳,复杂的电器结构和地上的杂乱电缆等与充满了阅读可能的掌纹的线条创造了一种形态上的联想关系。

Final or foreboding  1998

Palm lines of the artist are magnified on the floor of the exhibition room. A number of television sets are placed in different position of the palm lines according to the chirognomy. The images shown on television are ice-skaters on the running compass, dicing hands and various people in the scenery and other symbolistic images that artists often choose. The shells of televisions and videos are removed with complicated electronic structures and disorderly wires exposed, which are combined with the readability of palm lines to create a modal link of association.
